This ia a picture of our new kitten, "Sparkle" eating her first meal at home. We even got a picture of her little tongue sticking out. |
| Boy do we have a story to tell! Right after Christmas, a cat kept coming to our door. Not usually a sucker for animals, Veronica gave in and fed the kitty. She even let him in a couple of times. Knowing that naming the cat was a bad idea, she decided to find out who the owner was just to make sure the cat was okay. Well, in the process of all this, the family got used to the idea of having a cat. Veronica looked for local shelters online and together with the kids found a nice cat. |
One particular online feline caught our attention. Sparkle
from
Mollys
Militia
seemed perfect for us.

The evening we found a cat online, we were at the "foster" pet home signing papers to say we would take good care of our new kitten. This is the first time that Esther has tried really hard to sign her name all on her own. Did you notice she is using her right hand? I think she has finally decided. |
Noah and Anna pose with the kitty. She was in a cage during the time we were filling out the papers and chatting with the "foster" parent. |
We posed for a group shot with the new kitten before taking her home. |
