Once the crafts were complete, the kids had a scavenger hunt in the back yard for their goodies to fill the goody bags. There were 14 different items for them to find. I placed them in shoe boxes around the yard. Some were in the kiddie pools, some on the ground, even one in the playhouse. There was no candy but I don't think they cared. Once they found all 14 items, they received a "Winner's" medal from me for their great racing about. This way everyone was a winner. 
Once they found their goodies, they occupied themselved in the back yard for a short while. Surprisingly, the see-saw was the most popular toy.
