During my last trip to Texas, I asked to go to the cemetary where my relatives were. Although there were many relations in the cemetary, I focused on a few that were memorable to me. The most recent death in the family was my grandfather, Jessie Patterson. He was very dear to me. As I looked at the stones, I noticed that many of the men served in the military. This page is to honor them. Jesse A. Patterson and Jencie A. Patterson are the great-grandparents of Veronica. I feel very blessed that I knew my great-grandmother. She was a bright light in my childhood. Jesse A. Patterson : July 24, 1896 - November 11, 1962 Jencie A. Patterson : September 17, 1900 - April 5, 1983 Jeff F. Patterson : March 23, 1923 - November 19, 1951 : Son of Jesse and Jencie Jessie W. Patterson is the grandfather of Veronica. I loved my grandfater very much. As any man, he had his faults, but he was a kind and caring man that I loved dearly.
